Bucherer, which acquired Tourneau and its 30 retail outlets in the US in 2018, has just opened a new Rolex shop, located on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile on North Michigan Avenue, just two blocks away from the previous Rolex boutique. The new shop is around 500 square feet larger and is well-stocked with all the best models, from the Sky-Dweller to the Day-Date.

The new 2,200 square-foot store is located on the ground floor of the iconic Warwick Allerton Hotel, built in 1924 in an Italian Renaissance style. The shop’s interior boasts a brass-finished turnstile at the second entrance, walnut wood ceilings, and a wall made of green marble anchors in the main showroom.

After visiting the new Rolex outpost, keen shoppers can soon make their way over to Saks Fifth Avenue just across the street or to Tiffany & Co just a block away.

Construction on the new Rolex shop began in June 2021, replacing the older and smaller Rolex boutique which first opened its doors back in 2011. The old store officially closed its doors for the last time on January 5.
