The figure skating world is in mourning following the devastating loss of 14 figure skaters and coaches who were among the victims of a tragic plane crash near Washington, D.C. on Wednesday evening. The incident, which marked the first major commercial plane crash in the U.S. since 2009, occurred when an American Airlines flight collided with a Black Hawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport. "This is a loss beyond words for our community. We stand with the families during this unimaginable time and are committed to honouring the legacy of those we lost," Zeghibe said.
