Bernard Arnault’s Children: Who They Are and Their Role in LVMH
Bernard Arnault, the billionaire behind luxury goods empire LVMH, has built a family dynasty. His five children—Delphine, Antoine, Alexandre, Frédéric, and Jean—are all involved in the business, leading to speculation about who might inherit control of the company. But despite their deep involvement, Arnault insists that leadership is not guaranteed to any of them.
Here’s everything to know about Bernard Arnault’s children, their careers, and whether one of them will eventually take over LVMH.
Delphine Arnault: The Eldest and CEO of Christian Dior
Born in 1975, Delphine Arnault is the eldest child and the most senior of her siblings in the LVMH hierarchy. She studied at EDHEC Business School and the London School of Economics before joining LVMH in 2000. After rising through the ranks at John Galliano and Dior, she spent a decade at Louis Vuitton before being appointed CEO of Christian Dior in 2023.
Despite being a top contender for succession, Delphine has said she focuses on her work rather than family dynamics. She has two children and is in a relationship with tech billionaire Xavier Niel.

Antoine Arnault: The Public Face of LVMH
Born in 1977, Antoine Arnault plays a key role in LVMH’s public image. He joined the company in 2005, worked his way up at Louis Vuitton, and currently serves as CEO of Christian Dior SE and chairman of Loro Piana.
Antoine is married to supermodel Natalia Vodianova, and together they have two children. He has dismissed comparisons of the Arnault family to the fictional power struggles of HBO’s Succession, insisting that the siblings get along well.
Alexandre Arnault: The Innovator at Tiffany & Co.
Born in 1992, Alexandre Arnault is known for bringing a modern touch to the LVMH portfolio. He spearheaded LVMH’s acquisition of Rimowa in 2016, becoming its CEO at just 24. In 2021, he moved to Tiffany & Co. as executive vice president of product and communications, overseeing the brand’s transformation.
Married to accessories designer Géraldine Guyot, Alexandre recently became a father and was appointed to LVMH’s board in 2024, solidifying his influence within the company.
Frédéric Arnault: Leading TAG Heuer
Born in 1995, Frédéric Arnault runs Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer as its CEO. With degrees in mathematics and computer science, he has pushed the brand into smartwatches and innovation.
Frédéric and his brother Alexandre were appointed to the LVMH board in 2024, further increasing their presence in the company’s leadership. He has also been linked to BLACKPINK’s Lisa, sparking public curiosity about his personal life.

Jean Arnault: The Youngest and Rising Star
Born in 1998, Jean Arnault is the least experienced but is quickly rising within LVMH. After earning degrees from Imperial College London and MIT, he joined Louis Vuitton in 2021 as director of watches. He has expressed a deep passion for horology and is expected to take on more responsibilities in the future.
Jean is in a relationship with Zita d'Hauteville, a partner manager at YouTube and descendant of Parisian nobility.
Who Will Inherit LVMH?
Despite all five children holding key positions, Bernard Arnault insists that inheritance is not automatic. He has said that the best person—inside or outside the family—should take over. However, he continues to involve his children closely, bringing them together for monthly business meetings.
With multiple heirs, the future of LVMH remains uncertain. Will one of the Arnault siblings take control, or will leadership pass to an outsider? Only time will tell.
