Food delivery company Deliveroo has appointed Scilla Grimble as its next chief financial officer (CFO). Grimble will replace Adam Miller who is set to stand down in September.

Grimble has served as CFO for price comparison site MoneySupermarket.com since 2019 and previously worked as interim CFO for British retailer Marks & Spencer.

Grimble is set to join Deliveroo by June 2023. Until then, the company has appointed David Hancock, currently vice-president of investor relations, to serve as interim CFO.

In a statement, Grimble said, “It’s an exciting opportunity to help build the definitive online food company and I look forward to working with the team as they drive the business forward to profitability.”

Meanwhile, Claudia Arney, chair of Deliveroo, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Scilla to Deliveroo and the board is confident that her highly relevant skills and experience will help us to take advantage of the significant opportunities before us and will be invaluable as we continue to build our business.”
